10-Day Challenge

We all know how important writing and reading research articles is to develop a strong knowledge base on your topic of interest. Is it just me or do you sometimes feel overwhelmed or frustrated with keeping up with the reading and writing? Sifting through articles, then reading, synthesizing and taking notes is hard work.

We also know academia at any level can be all encompassing so it can feel hard to make time to workout and eat right. Imagine waking up each day more motivated than the last because you moved your body which is in turn rewarding you with more focus, improving your scholarly productivity. It’d be like tapping into some scholarly superpower. The Balanced Scholar Challenge aims to help you do just that.

The Balanced Scholar 10 Day challenge has been tested and developed by me, Allanté,  creator and host of Blk + in Grad School podcast. I am a joint PhD student who managed a McNair Scholars Program prior to returning to grad school myself. I have the personal experience and professional training to help you move, read and write more. I’ve helped plenty students through the application process and strive to support as many Black graduate students as possible navigate through the grad school experience.
